The NYC Junior Golf Club was established in 1997 for the purpose of providing New York City juniors with an opportunity to learn important skills and values, such as self esteem, self confidence, sportsmanship, tolerance, cooperation, responsibility, and unity through the sport of golf and all of the club's activities. Our club contains all levels of players from beginners to experienced.

The club started with about 95 children and has grown to over 180 children. Thanks to our 501c(3) organization, the juniors enjoyed, and will continue to enjoy the benefits of clinics, an eight week league, tournaments and an awards banquet.

We will be implementing on course clinics for our more experienced players. They will have the opportunity to go on the course with a pro and play nine holes, so they can develop course management.

We will continue holding four clinic instructions at LaTourette for Flights C & D, new members, and peewees. We will also continue a clinic schedule during the summer for our peewees and Flight D. They will be given additional instructions four times during the summer, and on alternate weeks they will be playing on the golf course. The golf courses we will be playing at are Silver Lake, South Shore, LaTourette, and Dyker Beach in Brooklyn.
